“The sun shone, everyone was in great form and it was the happiest day of our lives!

We chose a penguin theme because I have loved them since I was very small!”

Aoife and Jonny’s wedding day ..What can i say…
Exceptionally elegant surroundings, the charm and beauty of a country manor teamed with the luxury of a 5 star hotel – Castle Durrow – this is a wedding to dream of…
If i could have every couple doing it their style I would be the happiest person on the earth! ( I am though but just have a look and you will see what i mean )…
I’m just thrilled with what they said about working with me:

We first came across Olga at a friend of mines wedding.

Neither of us are fans of posing for pictures and we loved Olga’s non-intrusive style. From the first time we met Olga in Lahinch for a coffee and a chat, she immediately put us at ease. She listened to what we wanted, explained what her style was and showed us samples of her work.

Olga offered to meet us closer to the wedding to do an ‘Engagement Shoot’. We didn’t really want an official engagement picture so we were a little hesitant at first. Olga kindly met us in Ballina and she made the shoot so much fun. It was an invaluable experience as we got to know Olga and she got to know us!

On the morning of the wedding, Olga arrived to our house on time with Alex and they immediately blended in with no fuss. They helped to create a great atmosphere while the preparations were going on.

Olga has an unobtrusive, laid back approach but at the same time is extremely professional and confident. She captured some very unique photos around our house the morning of the wedding. Her attention to detail and creative eye allows her photographs to tell a story.

During the ceremony, we did not even notice her presence in the church which helped create a very relaxed mood. We did some ‘formal’ photographs of our families outside the church and she accommodated all of our requests.

Throughout the day, her bubbly personality helped create a warm, jovial mood. The two of us had so much fun with her taking photographs in the gardens of the castle. A couple of family members asked Olga to take certain photos in the hotel and they said she was very approachable.

We honestly couldn’t recommend Olga more to other couples getting married. Her enthusiasm rubbed off on us, our wedding party and our guests. We feel Olga captured our personalities and the story of our wedding masterfully and we love the end result.

She is a very personable photographer who marries professionalism with creativity and we loved having her with us on our special day.
